| The magnificently turned out Marjorie has strung together a remarkable series of results in recent years. One of the earliest of the surviving yacht barges to come out of trade she competed in the last series of Thames Matches in the 1960s.
In recent years she has notched up a 1st and 2nd in the Staysail Class before moving up a division into the Champion Bowsprits where she gained 3rd in 2004, 2nd in 2006 and was Champion of the London River in 2008. Since then she has finished second in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and is entered for the 2013 Match. |
